Sonoma Mountain at Dusk
"Sonoma Mountain at Dusk", oil on canvas, 12x24, $900
I did this painting in the studio the same evening I took the picture, so the scene was very fresh in my visual memory. Right now it's my favorite of my recent paintings. Getting the colors of the distant hills correct is always a challenge for me, and I think this painting nails it.

Wonderful! I agree with Ed, the colors, temperature and values are definitely right on. I'm just so thrilled to see you posting your paintings again!
