Fenced In

This is the same barn that I painted in "Vertical", but painted from about 20 feet to the left of my first location. If I learned anything in this painting it was a reminder that sometimes to get a color right you have to adjust the color next to it.

Yum! It was great to catch up with your recent work. I like this barn series and appreciate your comment about changing the neighboring color. I'm finally taking a plein air oil painting class (from Elio Camacho) and I'm learning so much!
Beautiful colours Kris and that barn has so much "presence". I really like this painting.
