Framing and other tasks
I haven't been posting new art recently as I've been a bit busy with a couple of other projects, namely framing up paintings for upcoming shows and building a deck. I've got another big construction project planned for the next couple weeks - a small studio! I'll be back and sharing new art as soon as the sawdust settles.

What an impressive deck! You built that??! No wonder you make such nice frames. Can't wait to see the new studio.
Thanks Annie! I'm looking forward to spending summer evenings lounging on the deck. One of the fun parts of building the deck was watching a Nuttal's woodpecker bring her fledgling to my suet feeder. They got quite used to me, and visited every hour or so.
Congratulations on the new studio plans (my studio envy is raising it's ugly head!)
Your carpentry skill is amazing. Also a small studio is an interesting concept. I have seen artist convert garages that became painting storage areas. High ceilings are best for many reasons. Good ventilation, storage possibilities, and a sense that there is an unlimited space for expansion.
