Top of the World - painting a day
"Top of the World", oil on canvas panel, 5x7", SOLD
I drove up the Geysers road the other day and was treated to a spectacular view across to Mt. St. Helena and the vineyards around Healdsburg. I did a couple of paintings, but this little painting of an oak on the top of a knoll was my favorite of the day. It was a great place to paint, but next time I'm bringing a couple of weights. I nearly had the easel go flying with the gusty winds.

Hi Kris, I really like your paintings...they're beautiful. I grew up in Marin so it makes me homesick when I see them!
